We focus on complementing the generic skill sets that empower our people to be successful with an individual growth and development plan. Each employee has a development plan created every year, which combines elements from our Commercial Skills and Management & Leadership models with specific items that will help the individual to grow.
At the heart of our Learning & Education strategy are the following elements: Technical Training, Commercial Skills, and Management & Leadership training. In our rigorous technical training program, you will build your financial analysis, financial modeling and analytical skills through interactive coursework that includes live programs, online recordings, e-learning solutions and self-studies for professional certifications. This is meant to provide employees at all competency levels with an understanding of regulatory requirements and the basic knowledge they will need for a successful career with Duff & Phelps.
Our commercial skills training features modules that are relevant to each and every level within our organization. These include areas such as negotiating skills, effective presenting, consultative selling skills and relationship management.
In our Management & Leadership training, we tailor modules for each level of employee, starting with the Foundations of Management and Best Practice Coaching for High Performance, then working through Essentials of Leadership and onto Executive Coaching for senior leaders. Our goal? To ensure that our people are prepared to become effective future leaders of Duff & Phelps.
