Internship Information

If you're thinking about financial internships, consider your options. At Duff & Phelps, you'll get practical training and real-life assignments, handling entry-level analyst projects and getting paid for your work.

Opportunities in the United States

We accept interns following their junior year of college or their first year of a master's degree program. Summer internships are available as well as some spring and fall opportunities in our Financial Engineering group. Internships generally last 8–12 weeks, while the number of openings available depends on market demands. If you are on a student visa (F-1), you are eligible for an internship if you have time remaining on your OPT Authorization and are currently pursuing a master's or higher-level degree.

International Opportunities

As we expand our global presence, we also offer comprehensive internships throughout Europe and Asia, where you'll perform in-depth industry market research and analysis; assist your team with the creation of proposals, reports and presentations; and gain valuable professional experience and practical knowledge completing a variety of real-life projects.

Programs are currently available in the following countries:

  • United Kingdom — Available to students after second or third year of a degree program
  • Germany — Available to working students after their third year of study
  • The Netherlands — Available to MBA students during their summer hiatus or undergraduates in their final year of study
  • France — Apprenticeships available to undergraduates or postgraduates upon completion of studies
